Robin Hood is the 21st Disney animated feature-length film and was released on 8th November 1973. It is based on the English Legend of Robin Hood. However the human characters have been replaced with anthropomorphic animals.

The film is tells the story of Robin Hood and his friends Little John, Maid Marian and Friar Tuck fighting the greedy Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham

Robin Hood appears to be ambidextrous, as he can pull back his bow string with either hand.

Maid Marian is the only female character in Robin Hood to wear shoes. All the others are barefoot.

The Sheriff of Nottingham was originally written to be a goat. He was later changed to be a wolf, as wolves seem more villainous.

I will rate the film into five categories, lighting, sound, sadness, scariness and Autism friendly. I will also give an overall score.

Lighting and sound categories are in reference to light and sound sensitivity.  As a person with Autism I have both but it is possible to have one or the other and still be a person with Autism

Lighting: 1/10

Sadness: 1/10

Sound: 1/10

Scariness: 4/10

Overall Score: 7/40

Autism Friendly: Yes

My opinion of this film is that its a lovely light-hearted children’s film that the whole family can enjoy.  I like how they’re all talking animals.
